Quality policy
Approved by the MMC Norilsk Nickel’s Management Board MMC Norilsk Nickel is the world’s largest producer and supplier of nickel, cobalt, copper, palladium, platinum group metals, gold and silver, with a volume of output that accounts for up to 1.5 per cent of Russia’s Gross Domestic Product. The strategic aim of the company’s quality policy is to provide for the steady development and growth of share value by satisfying the demands of its customers and other interested parties, and by improving the company’s products, services and efficiency in order to better compete in the marketplace. We regard the quality of our products and services as one of the fundamental means of achieving this aim. Therefore we have developed and implemented a system of quality control based on the demands of the international standard ISO 9001:2000, and we regard this system as a means of continually improving our production and processes as well as improving productivity and reducing costs. We are dedicated to meeting the demands of the quality control system that we have developed, and to continually improving upon it in order to improve the productivity of the company’s work.
