Born on July 19, 1955. Educational background: After graduating from the Irkutsk Polytechnical Institute as a specialist in automation of metal production, he moved to Norilsk where he worked at Nadezhda Metallurgy Plant (NMP). Professional experience: At Nadezhda, Sergey Selyandin grew all the way from electric fitter to deputy director for reconstruction. In 2003 he became director of the enterprise and remained in this position for more than six years. In July 2009 he was appointed Deputy Director – Chief Engineer of the Polar Division. In this position he managed important modernization and reconstruction works at NMP as well as in the field of new technology solutions for the reduction of emissions at the Polar Division. In the crisis year of 2009 he demonstrated the skills of an experienced production manager, capable of solving system tasks. As the result, the Polar Division accomplished its plans in terms of ore mining and metal production for 100%. Back |
